New Challenges for Multilingualism in Europe

LINEE Final Conference in Dubrovnik (Croatia)

Goal

LINEE's final conference aims to spread LINEE's research results to European, national and regional policy makers, as well as to the general public and the media.

Furthermore, in cooperation with researchers involved in the DYLAN project (Language Dynamics and Management of Diversity), the conference will strive to provide a common platform for the exploration of new perspectives for research in multilingualism.

Content

The conference is structured around LINEE's four thematic areas:

A) Language, Culture and Identity
B) Language Policy and Planning
C) Multilingualism and Education
D) Language and Economy

Researchers from the LINEE network and DYLAN project will present their results. Panel discussions and one press conference are envisaged.
